Search: Using Google’s Timeline

Here’s how to narrow down a Google search using the timeline (screencast, will open in new window).

Another way to view the results in chronological order is via the timeline, at the bottom of the list:


This will display a timeline above the list:


Click on any bar in the timeline


to zoom into a shorter period:


You can drill down further until you narrow your search down to the articles you’re looking for.
