N95: How to Switch Between Video and Stills

(This applies only to the Nokia N95 smartphone.)

First open the lens on the back of the camera:

slide the lens latch:

so it’s fully open:

If it’s already open, press the shutter on the top right of the device to activate the camera function:

This is what your screen should look like the camera function is working:

Notice the camera icon in the top left hand corner. That means you’re in still mode: Anything you shoot will be a photograph. To switch to video mode, move the four-way button:

so the cursor moves to the top of the icons on the right of the screen:

Press the center button once and the logo in the top left hand side of the screen should change to a video camera.

To shoot video or take a picture hold down the shutter.
